Cel
I have a 90 Accord with a F23 head SOHC and I am getting a check engine light and a 4000rpm limiter as well as a very rough idle. Im pretty sure the timing is off from when the belt was replaced during instalation. Do I have to pull everything back apart to change it or is there another way to adjust the timing and get rid of the check engine light.

I havent checked it. Can I do the paperclip-in-the-connector method like I do with my GSR?
I want to adjust my timing anyway. How do I do that?

well for whatever reason the S for sport is blinking and the CEL is on as well. It limits me to 4000rpms and Ive adjusted the timing considerably with no change. How can I scan for the codes?

The trans is brand new and the Sport light flashes in a consistent manner. I'll run out and see if i can pull the carpet back to check the flashes. Teggy.... I love my teg.
OK just checked it. Its showing me a Code 6 which is an Engine Coolant Sensor... I understand that that would give me a faulty sensor reading and initiate the Limp mode but would it run like crap like this as well? SO basically new temperature sensor... Hmm.
Still doesnt explain the rough running and rough idle but ah well. we'll deal.
