Default Where to run 1/0 GA thru firewall?

Hey, I am starting my audio install on my 94 accord. I can't exactly find a place to fit 1/0 through on the firewall... will I have to drill?

Do any of you guys know an existing hole, or the best place to drill a hole?

Thanks,
Scott D.

there should be 1 hole on each side on the firewall, but 1/0 GA may be too for the existing ones. You'll probably have to drill through, pick a spot that wont come in contact with anything in the bay

I found a pretty large grommet going into the fusebox... might give that a shot... Looks plenty big enough

As for amps...

Elemental Designs NINe.1 (1200W beast)
ARC KAR 200.2 (Not such a beast)

I had 4ga in my old car, but I decided I might as well go big or go home. Bigger can't hurt (except in this case).

Drivers side, up above the dead pedal. It's a huge grommet that has wiring from the engine to the fusebox. It was a PITA but I got it through.

Amazingly, I just pulled up the trim panels on the drivers side and lifted the carpet, and laid the 1/0 down the side... and everything fit perfectly...

I'm just suprised... this stuff is just as thick as my garden hose.

Albeit late, here are pictures of my personal favorite location. With 0 gauge you can probably use a professional compression grommet from Stinger, Streetwires, etc., in these locations.
