Default i have to questions

First question 1.Is there any oil change period for manual transmission? does it even needs to be changed?

Second question1. Does manual car's timing belt needs to be changed?

in both cases i heard No , both of them doesnt need to be changed

And yeah how do i change thread title coz i put "to" instead of "two"

oil changes and timing belt replacements HAVE to be done... regardless of which transmission is in the car.

Neither have to be changed if you plan to buy a new car in the near future or rebuild your engine/transmission

According to my owners manual under the "heavy duty" service section, the manual transmission oil should be changed at 30K. I've always followed that section even though I drive like grampa. It guarrentes to extend the life of the entire car itself.

then why is it when i take to a garage and ask them to change clutch fluid, transmission fluid. they would refuse to do and just tell me that i dont need to change that in manual transmission. it happened to me twice
