Default short shift adapter

I was wondering what the difference is between the $9.99 adapter on Ebay and the $50.00 one's that performance places sell. If i pay more money do i get better quality or do i just pay a higher mark-up...

ebay ones tend to hit the exhaust pipe, dont buy them, i did and they suck. they break easy too, right below the shift knob... go the expensive route you won't regret it.

Hit the exhaust pipe?!?! When is there any time that your adapter is near your exhaust pipe???

There are short shifters made for you car, REAL short shifters not adapters.
