04 Accord- Rear deck speakers what color is what polarity?
Im tapping into the rear deck speakers with an RCA converter to run an aftermarket amp for a sub. Long story short, Im not certain which is positive and which is negative on the deck speakers. I could do the "battery" trick but can not see the cone without taking everything apart.
All I really need is someone who knows what color wire is + and -
Thanks

Honda usually uses red and blue wires for the positive and a brown and grey for the negative... there are usually stripes on both wires. Not sure if its the same case with the new cars, but thats how the older ones always were.

It doesn't matter. They are both "hot". (All in-dash radios are "bridged output".) That's why you need an adaptor box. Wire both sides the same, it will be fine.

The common in-dash radio's speaker leads are both at 6V DC. Put a meter on and see.
