against other higher hp cars...yes it's slow...but against it's main rivals such as the big block caliber with the 2.4 CVT it's much faster and much less expensive

hate to say it, but the yaris does a little better on fuel than the fit. maybe 2-3 mpg better.

but yeah, the fit outruns the yaris all day long.

the Fit has to push a bigger hole in the air so that is the main reason why it doesn't get as good a fuel mileage as it should (about equal to the Civic)...also the Fit's transmission is geared more for acceleration than most of its competitors

yes it did in C&D's test...however in reality if a z06 and a Fit were cornering the z06 would run circles around it (no corners are slaloms even switchbacks aren't close to it)

Slaloms favor narrower, front-heavy cars. Moving through them the nose doesn't move side-to-side nearly as much as the rear end of the car.

My site's pricing feature, unlike others, will price every trim of a model with the features you want simultaneously. The result page then compares features across models and trims, and provides before and after price comparisons. Members (membership is free to people who help out with the reliability research) can substitute their own values for features, providing a more accurate feature-adjusted comparison, but most people seem to find the default values close to their own.

Vehicle price and feature comparisons

I also post results from a real-world fuel economy survey to the site. Page for the Fit:

Honda Fit fuel economy
