Default 1997 Accord 220K miles $3500 Good Deal?

Any thoughts on this?

This is a pretty good price for a '97 and I know 220K miles isn't the end of a honda. What would I want to check out on this car?

It definitely seems a little high for a 9 year old car with that many miles on it. But, if you do want to get it, having a knowledgeable mechanic look it over would probably be the best thing to do.

I have a 1996 Honda Accord and I paid $3000 for it. It had 180,000 miles on it.

I wouldn't even touch a car with that mileage, Honda or not.

It looks in great shape. It does seem pricey for the mileage. Some maintence was done but you really have to account for all the major wear items that you might have to replace (engine mounts, seals, transmission, radiator, etc).

OBO, so if you like it, maybe you can talk them down a bit.
