Default Will a gated Prelude Auto Tranny fit a 5th Gen Accord?

I made a mistake with the title. I meant to say Shifter
Will a gated Prelude Auto Shifter fit a 5th Gen Accord?

I searched and only found info about the manual shifters. I'm getting bored of the accord shifter and want something different. I know another member put a TL shifter in their 6th Gen Accord, but it will not fit a 5th. Thanks

I doubt it, but you could try it and say you did it. I'm sure that a 97-99 CL would though.

I don't think so, I don't remember seeing a release button on the CL's or the Prelude like the 5th Gen's require.

That has nothing to do with it, they use different shift unlock mechanisms.

actually i'm working on that right now because of my motor swap and one big problem is fitment because the lude shifter is sloped and it lacks shift position switches because they are on the tranny on the lude. but unless your doing a engine swap the PRND21 won't work .
