Do I need to replace the door lock actuator?

Default Do I need to replace the door lock actuator?

the rear driver side door is making noise everytime I lock and unlock the door.
I think I will need to replace the door lock actuator but I am not 100% sure
if this is the part that goes bad. can anyone tell me if I am righ or wrong? I dont feel like taking apart the door twice. thanks oh is a 96accord 4dr

I did my drivers side about a year ago. Its not hard in theory really. Basically take off the door panel and the plastic shield. I think i had to unbolt the lower track for the window possibly. Thats all easy...the hardest part is that you have to pretty much replace the actuator by feel b/c its hard to see it. I used a mirror which helped alot. Good luck!
