Default Quandry: new 06 or used 05 EX L Coupe V6?

I'm obviously looking for one of these. I like the 05's just fine and a certified one brings a nice warranty, longer than when new. Honestly, though, I doubt I would ever use that warranty. I take good care of my car and do the preventative stuff. The transmission (auto) is my only "concern". I can get some creampuff 05's for about 22 and change with 12-20K miles. A new one for about 24.5K out the door. The styling and other changes on the 06 are cool and all, but they don't make the deal for me. I know it's personal preference at this point, but what are your guys' thoughts?

buying a honda thats only a yr old isnt a bad thing by any means. of course it depends on who the previous owner was, but all in all, there will be no difference than buying new.

did you want an automatic? id try to find a 6spd if i were you, but thats all personal preference.

as far as a warranty, its a good addition that can help you breathe easy, but once again theres not too much you should be worried about unless the person driving it before dogged it. either way you cant go wrong. i personally prefer the 05 design more than the 06.

For a difference of $2,500 I'd buy the 2006. Besides the styling tweaks, there is a slight increase in horsepower, 17" wheels where it used to be 16", VSA, and some other stuff. And you get to be the first person to drive it off the lot.

Agreed. IMO, the new 2006 is $2500 better.

If you're going to buy a used Accord, why not buy a 2003 or 04? Same as the 05.

True, but the 05's have the lit controls on the steering wheel. I also heard the AT's might be better on the 05's production wise. Probably splitting hairs at this point, but those lit steering wheel controls are hot (to me anyway).
