i was looking at some of the lotus elise reviews and it seems like an okay lil sports car. It has 190 hp but it only wieghs like 1985 ish i dont remeber the exact wieght i know its under 2,000. so its approx 1hp per 30 lbs. So i got to thinking how do the s2k and the lotus do when compared they both seem to be around the same area. Not to metion they are both sports cars that love the curves lol. what do u think >???

lotus elise is my dream car, 1870lbs, 190hp vvtl-i, 13.2 1/4 mile, best handling car under $100,000....... could it get any better?

sit in both cars. it depends what you're doing with them. if you're looking for a daily driver/weekend car/trackday-slut, the S2K is perfect. if you don't care about the first part, but want more of the last two, the elise is the better choice. from what i hear the elise is even more intense and hard-edged than the ap1, like, a lot more so. it's loud, and harsh, and rides like a tin can, but hauls ass! the s2k is more sophisticated and refined, VERY VERY CLOSE in performance, and costs $10k less. go sit in a lotus and try to get in and out a few times before you decide.

The Elise is the perfect inexpensive track car. The S2000 for those who will be driving it on the street and still want to have fun on the track.
