Default amp prob

Okay I have problems with my amp. This amp is hooked up to my interiors couple days ago got some weird poping sound come out my speakers so I shut it down and checked my amp it got pretty hot. So I let it cool down and then turned it back on same thing and then I heard a load pop (not from the speakers but from the trunk) Went back took a look again and the fuse was blown put in a new fuse poped it again checked all of my wiring pos wire wasn't grounging out Neg wire had good clean ground. So I took out that amp and put in an old amp I had on the same wire pattern didn't change anything just hooked it up works fine.. So what do think?
