what to get for a '98 accord
what should i get for an accord that would get me some satisfactory performance without me having to lose all my G's (i might invest in a different car later on...not sure)

Agreed.
I have an SRI for the sound basically, but suspension mods are where its at. You get the most bang for the $ that way with the Accord. And of course, looks. Wings West makes a nice subtle lip kit for the car, lowering it will give it a more aggressive stance, black housing headlights, red/clear tails, etc.

suspension if you like swerving left and right, in and out of lanes, and turns at 40+MPH...be safe and smart about doing those though...
exhaust, free flow cat, header, and intake if you want just a little bit of power...from there you can do the cam gears, pulleys, fuel rails, fuel regulator, etc.
carbon fiber hood and trunk for light weight.
if you want big power for cheap, you can upgrade the pistons and rods and throw in a nitrous oxide system.
if you want bigger power you can throw in a Turbonetics Turbo kit, OR do an H22 engine swap.
