Default opinions until i get decent rims.

okay, i recently dropped my 2000 LX Sedan about 2 inches. i have to save up for a decent set of rims and tires. but in the mean time, i'm still riding stock steelies. you guys think i should remove the hub caps or just leave them on? to be honest, at times it looks cheesy but then other times, it's like who cares since i can't see it while i'm driving anyways.

so what do you guys think? dump the hubcaps?

keep the hub caps on. I hate to see clean honda's with no hub caps down here in miami. just keep them clean and you will be alright untill you get your rims

Seriously...leave them on. I know hubcaps suck, but steelies are much more ghetto imo.

I was in the same situation...car came with steelies and hubcaps, I knew I was going to get larger wheels, drop the car, etc...but I was broke from buying the car. I got lucky and found some 15" 93 prelude alloys for $100 and that held me over until I did the suspension and then wheels and tires a few months later. I then used those prelude alloys during 3 winters and then sold them for $150 four years later.

Check on Craigslist to find some cheap usable rims in your area.
