  • Includes: Kit #/Price
  • F23 A1/4/5 86mm Complete Gasket Set
  • Cometic Head Gasket
  • ROSS/Wiseco Pistons
  • (86, 86.5, 87, 88mm bore) and
  • (8.5-1, 9.5-1, 10.5-1, 11.1-1 comp ratio)
  • Performance Rings
  • Performance Wrist Pins
  • TOGA HP Main Bearings
  • TOGA HP Rod Bearings
  • Thrust Washers
  • Timing Belt
  • Expansion Plugs

What exactly do you need explained? I have no idea why you'd spend $1000 on this crap unless you're going to be putting a turbocharger on it and going to shows or drag races or something, but go for it if you want.

well i'm not sure what those things do and the point in changing them. i want to know if those are supposed to spin out more horsepower? or are they just stronger so a high boost from a T/C or N2O will be supported.

Well it looks like you can either get a higher comp ratio or a lower one, and the other stuff just reinforces your engine internals so it can handle a strong amount of boost or nitrous without blowing up. You wouldn't see anything but an oddly performing engine if you bought that kit without a controllable ecu and a professional tuner.

Nope, just look around on google and the engine tech forum
