Default tranny swap question

on a 6th gen, when you do the AT=>MT swap, what happens to the dash face? under AT it usually has the PRND dash on the far right. after you do the MT you have no need for this, so how would you change that? do you just change the face plate or would you have to remove that whole console?

either live with the PRND on the clucter or replace it with a manual one or get some ricer gauge faces to cover your auto one ,the whole cluster has to come out.

could i just replace the face plate with a manual one?
the lights for the PRND won't work anymore after the conversion right?

It's much easier and cheaper to just sell your car and buy the same model with a stick unless you can get a 5 speed for next to nothing and don't mind doing all the labor.
