Default Motor mount inserts...

i found some on urethane motor mount inserts on ebay and i was wondering, sicne my car vibrates/shakes irradictly on stops and such, would the inserts help out my motor mounts if they were damaged? what else could it be, i already replaced about everything and did a full tune up, i dont kno why my car idles/vibrates so much... thanks.

well, you can check the motor mounts visually....are they cracked?

usually, motor mount inserts will cause the car to shalke even more because you'll be transfering vibration from the engine to the car...

I heard they do the exact opposite of that, but who knows.

You heard wrong, they tranfer the vibrations of the motor directly to the cars unibody.

Putting inserts into damaged OEM mounts is a bad idea. Just shell out the money and get new OEM ones if you are worried about vibration. The vibration is worse with the inserts, trust me.

yea, 3 out of my 4 motor mounts are polyurethaned and any rpm under 1k will cause the body to mad shake, lol

so my idle is @ like 950
