XM SkiFi2 sound not the same..Help
Yesterday I installed a a XM SkiFi2 XM radio in my car. I have a '06 accord 2dr V4 and the stock radio is I believe 160W. When I listen to the radio and or the CD's the audio is pretty loud but when I listen to my XM radio the audio isnt as loud even though the volume level is all the way up to 30. Today as a test I listened to the audio with just t he back speakers and I could hardly hear the sound coming from my rear speakers.
I am posituve the hookup is correct I am using a PIE adapter, no FM hookup, would this be a situation where I need an amp??

FYI:
I have installed the SkiFi2 XM Radio
The correct PIE Adapter
A ground Loop isolator
and I have it wire to a cig lighter that I installed in the cubby compartment that is wire to the fuse box so the unit turns on when I start the car.

it should be, yes... if you were to hook up an external cd changer to the OEM deck, the sound would be the same level.
Do you know the model # of the interface you used?
