Default Hatchback sub enclosure where spare goes

http://images.search.yahoo.com/searc...tt=16&ei=UTF-8

This is what I'd like to do, with one nice 12" woofer sitting where the spare goes. I have a 92 Si, but it's the same Idea. Anyone done this, or have the specs to do so? There's a guy on ebay selling an enclosure program. Anyone use it before?

BTW... I'm gonna run this sub with it. Got a great deal on it and couldn't pass it up.
Need to get a low dollar yet quality amp to run it. What do you guys think? It's been a while since I've gone beyond stock sounds, so anything good or bad you'd have to say will sure help. Thanks again to all in advance.

Anyone know of members that could build such and enclosure, or where to go? Anyhelp would be great.

If I were to run a pioneer 1000 watt amp with an amp to run it, let's say a 1000 watt amp that will run 300 watt RMS plus a four channel amp to run 4 polk separates at 50 watt rms 150 peak... would I need a bigger alternator? If so, what's the biggest or best one to get that would not have me changing other parts?

Thanks.

Are you planning to use fiberglass? The bottom of that enclosure you posted in the first post is just metal. That might resonate a bit too much. People generally lay the bottom and sides using fiberglass, then make a MDF top.

Anyway, 300 watts RMS and a smaller 4 ch amp is not that power hungry. If your 92 Si's electrical system is in good condition, you probably can keep the stock alternator. If you want, you can find a 1 farad cap to bandaid the issue. But if your alternator is about to be replaced anyway, going with a higher output alternator is the way to go. But I wouldnt unless I was planning to use all that juice.

I suppose I'd use fiberglass. Wanted to know if anyone had done it. civictuner posted a link with a nice job done on an altima. I think I'd like to do it like that one. Man... anyone in the Los Angeles area that does that kind of work? What would something like that cost?

As for the alternator, going one step bigger would be how big?

150-180 amps? That is a good upgrade.
