Shocks & Springs

I was driving my car yesterday and I hit a plastic bag in the road. I guess it had something real heavy in it, cause as soon as i hit it, the abs light flashed, and now when i drive over bumps i hear a "goh-lug" sound coming from the rear right suspension

anyway, i guess it was good thing, now i can replace 12 year old shocks...

Question is now....which should i go with

I'm online looking @ shocks, and they (websites) tell me i need the springs that match, yet they don't sell them

so i search and search yahoo...either everythings to expensive or

I don't know anything about suspension...so any help would be really great

I need shock & springs or maybe even coilovers

First of all, it would help if you tell us what kind of car you have. Second, do you have other mods to your vehicle or do you basically want a factory replacement? Third, do you do any spirited driving? Fourth, please no profanities in your post.

Then any decent shocks should do. Like KYB/Tokico. Or even ask your local Sears to see what kind of shocks they carry for your vehicle.

Unless you are using super high performance shocks, your stock springs are fine.
