can anyone take a picture and show me where the PCV valve is located please? lol thanks.

I don't know if this will do it, but the hole on the top of the black box is where the PCV goes.

Unless it is a newer LS which has the PCV valve plugged directly into the valve cover, it will be below the intake manifold on the passenger side.

yea so i just took out the old PCV valve and i think this solves why i am burning oil and smoking out of the exhaust, so i pull out the PCV valve and that thing is loaded with crap, i shake it and hear no rattle sound this thing is shot i sure hope that was my problem. thanks for all the help guys.

Is it pretty easy to replace the pcv valve? It's something I've been meaning to do for a while now but just haven't really bothered with it. I tried to get a replacement at Auto Zone but they can't even order any so I'll have to go to the dealership. How much does a new one run?

dude they are cheap, mine costed a little over 2 dollers at discount auto parts lol
