what turbo are you running? the compression on your motor is really high so i wouldnt recomend anything over 7.

None. If you run boost, it's not a stock Type R.

Psi doesn't mean shit. CFM does.

I wouldn't push more than 300 whp out of any stock B-series motor.

But to answer your question, if you have good tuning (not the halfassed tuning method Drag provides with the kit), 10 psi wouldn't be a problem on a stock block B18C5.

i was planning to go with a drag kit since i want to keep all the ac and ps. but i might change the manifold and get a rull race ac on.

No. Don't half ass the most important part of the turbo system; especially with a high compression motor. If you care about your reliability, do it right and get either a standalone or a chipped ECU to handle fueling and ignition.

some places wont recommend more than 5 psi due to the compression. Dont do it half-assed and get it done right

i'll bet 10 psi added to a stock type r with a t3 would be more than 300 hp for a stock b series block. i saw 8 psi make 294hp. i dont know the size of the turbo, but i doubt it was much bigger.

you say 10 psi wouldnt be a problem. is that 10 psi on a t25, t3, t66? thats something that needs to be specified...

Read his first post. He states that this is with the Drag kit.

I highly doubt the engine would make that kind of power from a basic Drag kit on a high compression motor like the Type R because the ignition would have to be pulled a good amount to avoid detonation on pump gas.
