Default speaker size

i have a 99 honda civic and everywhere i look it says that it uses 6.5" speakers. so i bought a pair of eD speakers but they were to big. the factory ones are about 6". i was just wondering if all 6.5" speakers are the same size and what is the mounting diameter i keep seeing... i was looking at some 6.5" diamond audio speakers and i had the mounting diameter as 5 and some odd inches...there is no way the 6.5" eD speakers are gonna fit...so should i just get 6" speakers??? if so they are kinda hard to find...especially at the 100 watts rms range..any suggestions???

Make new baffles for the eD speakers...if they fit the mounting depth of course.

well the thing is i want to use the factory grills and the diameter of the grills overlaps the area where it mounts and the grill wont fit....do u know any good 6 inch comps at about the same wattage as the eD 6000's? ill go with coaxials but i would prefer comps.
