Are they the same panels that you took out?

i've noticed the same with my panels. i'm not sure how extreme yours are, but i have to pull mine while popping them into place, to get the clips to grab.

this may sound stupid but we some times over look the small things. When I took my panels out some of the clips popped of the panel a stuck to the sheet metal just make sure there aren't any still in. I put my panels back in last night just to see what you were talking about and they come out a lot easier than they go in but no big problem. Hardest part for me was getting the front doorsill area to fit in right. It help useing a decent sized flat head to push the clips with metal tip right were they needed to be. Nice gental tap with the wrist and everything fit back together like a condom.
