Default question about hooking up 2 amps

how should i wire the amp remote to 2 amps from the headunit (has only 1 remote output)? just make a Y cable? would it average the voltage volume and never get the amps turned on or something like that?

that or another easier way is just to get a small piece of remote wire from 1 amp and split it to the second amp. that way you dont have to run a long wire from your head unit.

That IS a Y-wire.h:

And yes, that is the best way to go if that remote wire is going to power on two units. If you are planning on wiring more...I would go with a relay instead of spliting it mulitple times.
