around 5700ish i think, buddy has a 00 ex accord,

seeing how slow my and all other accords are..VTEC never engages!!!!

The "V" and "TEC" engage once you remove the "-" from the middle that doesn't belong there. Thus producing the patented "VTEC".

The F23 motor (98-02 4cyl) doesn't have a standard Vtec engagement. It depends upon RPM's, oil pressure, and load.
Normally though it engages as early as 4700RPM's to as late as 4900RPM's. This would make sense cause that's the peak RPM's for the torque.

you guys are all wrong, vtec is 5 1/2 and i vtec is like around 4 could be
