Default Radio Code

I have recently had my transmission worked on and when I went to drive it home I noticed that my radio had an error on it. Does anyone happen to know the code for a 2002 Honda Accord v6 coupe? Or how I can get it....? I bought the car used and it didn't come with the code.
Thanks

every radio has a different code. check the manual, or the glove box, or even the radio itself... the 5 digit code may be written on it. If not you have to get the serial number off the rear of the radio, and find a dealer who will give it to you for a low charge or free

wow, how many times is this freakin topic gonna come up. for the last freakin time people, call the freakin dealership and ask, cuz no one on HAN is going to be able to give you your own car's code.

Yes.

But first you have to tell us what code you are getting. If it is the security code that you are needing, all the codes are unique to each radio. Call a dealership and provide them with your VIN and Serial code. They should be able to give you the code free of charge. If they dont, try another dealership.

mine was under a fuse box in the engine compartment, passanger side. They can NOT give you the code from just the vin or anything like that. The cd player has to be uninstalled. Atleast this is what both acura dealerships around my area told me

Correct, it needs to be uninstalled to get the serial number from the back.

Thank you everyone for everything! I ended up going to the dealership and the serial # is in the glove compartment. They ended up doing it for free....which is nice...some dealerships wanted 80 bucks. As for 04accordcoupe...if you haven't noticed I'm new to the site. If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say it. Just like sina518 said don't read or respond to threads if you know they are the same things over and over....geez. lol Thanks again.
