Default wrecked '94 LX...what to do with it?

Ok, so sadly I just wrecked my girlfriend's '94 Accord LX (which I bought) on friday night. So now I am faced with a dilemma. I have full coverage insurance but the car's not on my policy, its on my gf's and she only has liability. The car is more than likely totalled so I think it's going to be a total loss. What should I do about the situation? I mean, right now the car is just sitting at my buddy's house because it was wrecked only like 1/2 mile from there. But what should I do with the car now? I'm pretty sure it would cost more to fix than it's worth. Should I just try to sell the car as is? And if so, who would actually want to buy it? Or should I just try to grab some major parts off of it before I send it off to the junkyard? Would they give me anything for it. I could really use some advice at this point. Sorry this is so long....

I live in Indianapolis. I couldn't tell you how much I'd be looking to get for it until I take a better look at the car. Haven't looked at it since the accident friday night, so I'm not sure how bad the damages are. Will try to check it out and get some pics today or tomorrow.

I'm not sure if I'm going to part it out yet or what's going on. I'll keep whoever is interested posted. Keep your eyes open for a thread in the parts classifieds, if I do happen to part it out or whatever.

you just bought the car and wrecked it?
How can you wreck a car in indianapolis? The rodes are like so fricken wide open. I see you also totalled a vette in your sig.
Bad driving I guess. If the car is that totaled I would sell the parts.
Your not going to get anything from insurance since you only had liability and the car is pretty much un-driveable.
Plus, you guys dont have a honda scene out there so I dont think you'll have an easy time trying to sell it wrecked like that.
Good luck though.

yeah, i didn't have the car very long before i wrecked it. and yes, i also wrecked another car. thanks for pointing that out, dad. you can very easily wreck a car just south of Indianapolis in Brown County, which is where I was driving. It's nothing but steep hills and curves. h: I'm probably going to end up parting the car out if I think the repairs are too much.
