Default Front Speaker problems 95 integra

I was wondering if someone could help me out. I recently installed a new sony cd player and took out my stock cd player. everything is fine, except for the fact that no music comes out of the 2 front speakers. it is puzzling to me, since the front tweeters work as well as the back speakers and there is a buzzing sound in the front speakers (i think indicating that it is gettin power). i douible checked the wiring and all the wires matched up. i dont know what else to check. someone help me please!

Did you use a harness adapter?? Its pretty hard to mess those up. Have you pulled the speakers out at all?

the speakers i had before were close to blown out, do u think that the new cd player i installed might have to much power for them or something?

has it (front speakers) ever workd with your new sony deck? Or purhaps you have always heard just the rear speaks and tweets in front all along. Sometimes the metal pins in the harness don't click in all the way or possibly the speaker lead plug for the front two are not connected inside the door.

An aftermerket deck generally close to doubles the output of your factory radio.
