hey guys I have an 03 accord coupe...I got the Neuspeed Sport Springs which will take it down about 1.5", I've got a rear camber kit, do I NEED a front one or will it be ok
I lowered my accord with eibach prokits. 1.5" drop. And don't have a camber kit. But I did get a wheel alignment. The fronts were ok, but the rears were out and needed a camber kit. I currently have 105000 miles and I only replaced by tires twice. But if you are planning on using aftermarket rims I recommend the camber kit. If not then you should be fine.
i dunno, i lowered my 94 1" and i needed a front camber kit... it was eating through tires and I lost alot of traction.
I don't what components you have changed on your car, but a possible explanation would be worn bushings etc since the car is 9 years older than the original poster's...might make a difference. I know the 6th gens are very tolerant up front...usually you have to go lower than 2" before needing camber correction. On my 99 I have H&R sports using a lower perch on my Koni's...probably about a 1.75 to 2.0 drop up front, camber still within spec.
If you were eating tires, that could have been a toe issue. Or maybe the 5th gens just aren't as tolerant up front.
