1990 honda ex 2.2, one of the three bolts on the thermostat housing on the back of the block is stripped. anyone know if new housings are available from anywhere? i've only seen them in yards but i'd like to get a new one if possible. thanks

I've used HeliCoils before, they work pretty good. Probably the place with the highest load that I've used them is head bolts for a Honda lawnmower engine.
The thing to consider is how much aluminum remains after you've enlarged the threads to fit the coil. It's not clear from the picture, how fat those ears are around the bolt holes.
