Default Removing a/c?

Does anybody happen to have a link to a faq or instructions on the correct was to remove the air conditioning system on a 92 dx? I never use my a/c and I would prefer to have it out because I never use it and I would prefer to get rid of that weight and sell the whole a/c system. Any ideas? And yes, I did search but found nothing concerning this issue. Thanks!

Its alright, I am guessing somebody will answer. Honda-tech has no info on removal, and neither does honda-acura.net hondaswap.com or superhonda.com. Google is also not yielding any results either.

Honda-tech has nothing?...I would suggest doing another re-worded search on there to see if anything comes up. They ALWAYS have something...

Searched in the archived posts and found some things. I always forget to look in the archives.

Make sure you take your car somewhere to get the A/C system purged first.

Then you would remove the condenser, fan, compressor, compressor pulley, ac belt, evaporator core, all other misc. stuff.

By searching here, I found a post where white_n_slow took his out and weighed it. It was only 38lbs.

I would just leave it to keep up your re-sale value of you car. If you don't use the A/C, maybe just remove the belt so it doesn't strain your engine. I don't think the weight is that significant.
