Default high rpm bad for engine?

Is shifting at high rpm, bad for my engine? Im not talking about redlining or anything, is shifting around 4000-5000 rpm gonna effect my car at all besides gas mileage?

No. You're fine. Your motor mounts might take a beating, and your clutch might wear more than it would when shifting lower, but that's nowhere close to what it would take to hurt any Honda engine.

my teg has 165k on it and do that on the regular. you're fine if you keep up with your oil changes and regular maintainence.
