Default Anyone Driven An 06 Yet?

I'm curious to see how the drive by wire compares to the previous model throttle cable linkage. Thanks.

You're right, someone had posted in another forum that a friend had gotten an 06, but was really an 05...I thought something was fishy about that.

i havnt driven an 06 s2k but i have test driven an 06 civic ex coupe. I was told by the salesman that it was drive by wire(not sure if he knew what he was talking about) but if it was i sure couldnt tell. it felt exactly the same as the old throttle cable design, no lag or anything of that nature.

i've driven em both. throttle response is surprisingly good, but i don't like electronic throttle either. when the car is warm response starts to lag a little. like if you park to run into a store, when you start it up again, response is a little slow. don't lose sleep over it tho. drive it and see what you think.
