2005 DX Sedan...No Stock Rear Sway???
Hi,
I just bought a Progress 22mm Adjustable rear sway bar for my 2005 Accord Sedan DX. I put the car on a lift today to install it and I was shocked to see that there was no stock rear sway bar on the car. I thought that Accords came with a 14mm stock bar and I thought I'd be able to use the bolts, links from this and just replace the bar with the new Progress bar....
Is this normal, that there aren't any rear sway bars on the Sedans, or am I missing something, or is it just my car...WTF is going on!!!??!???

The endlinks for the 7th gen are about $25 each
go to www.hondaautomotiveparts.com , they have the best rates but compare that to your local dealer caus it might be cheaper.

I've had good luck using this site. Assuming your chassis has the bolt holes for the main bar brackets, and that you have holes on the rear wheel uprights to attach the endlink plate (if not included) or endlink, you should be able to install the sway bar provided you find all the parts you need. You shouldn't have any issues, just look up an '05 LX and see what parts it list they you don't have...

Hmm...Now I have to shell out another $50 or so for these end links... Damn!
Oh yea, when I had the car up, I saw the bolt holes in the chasis, so I'm sure they are there for the links as well, but for some shady odd reason, Honda decided not to put a rear sway on the DX.... The small corners companies cut to save... What can I say.

the reason being is the DX is a base model, its for people who want an accord but donthave much money. Hell some (maybe all) dont come with AC. I have personaly installed 3 in them. Its not that Honda "cut corners" they just made a car for the people who dont need or want the luxury.
