Default vtec killer cams ?

has anyone used "VTEC KILLER CAMS"? my buddy was telling me about them and i thought i would ask around. he said these cams make your car use vtec at every rpm. this would obviously make your mpg suffer, but by how much? who makes the cams and how much do they run? would anyone suggest these as a cam upgrade? thnx for the help

They are race only cams. They do not include the small cam lobes, only the large "VTEC" lobes. The cams don't do a damn thing until 5,000 rpms and have a very high peak. You need to remove the stock rocker assembly. Check out www.todaracing.com for VTEC killer cams info under the B series products. Definitely a waste of money unless you're building a race car.
