Default Skunk2/Uberdata

I have an ecu that was sent to skunk2 and it was chipped. this isn't a fake ebay ecu. My question is, would i be able to burn a chip with uberdata and run it on the ecu they chipped? just wondering if anyone else has done this and if it worked. Thanks

I think Skunk2 will chip the ecu without using a ZIF socket, so essentially, it is just soldered straight to the board and you cannot remove it unless you desolder it and add a ZIF socket. I am unsure if they use a reburnable chip or just some non-rewritable chip, so you may want to think about just picking up the uberdata chipping kit and having someone else rechipping it.
