if you're running GSR pistons you'll need to run a gsr head to maintain the same amount of power. using the B16 head will lower compression a little unless you use different pistons like ITR pistons.

Oh hell no. There are three different intake manifold bolt patterns (PR3, PR4, and P72) and multiple different exhaust manfolds (though all B-series share the same exhaust side bolt pattern.)

As for the post about deck height, that doesn't make a difference. You can interchange PR3 and P72 heads at will, given the matching intake manifold.

Let me clarify, Cause I still don't know, and would like to--I know the manifolds themselves aren't the same, I meant about the bolt patterns...won't any B-series mani bolt up to this guy's block?

I already said in my last post, no, intake manifolds are NOT interchangeable. The stud pattern is different through B16A based PR3 heads, non-VTEC B18A PR4 heads, and B18C1 based P72's.

The exhaust manifolds are fully interchangable.
