h22a in a 1st gen tegra
ok so heres the deal. my friend says he'll straight up give me his 88 integra if i want to put motor in it. the motor is blown up and he's tired of it sitting at his house. the car is perfect as far as everything else working in it. the way i see it, i can get an h22a a lot cheaper than i can get a type r motor. so i was just wondering if i'd fit, if it's been done and so on. if anyone knows anything about this swap tell me.

i dont know, just to have a motor that puts out around 200 hp in such a small car would be cool. the b18c1 would be a good one though.

It can be done, I've seen two done before and one and person, and there was a lot of work. If you want something similar in torque and in horsepower figures, but without the headache, do a CRVTEC B20/B16.

Shouldn't be much different then swapping a h22a into a crx. Bergenholtz used to run that set-up.
