Default turbo is boging help

Help. I was on my way to work today and half way there I had put my car in boost. Instead of pulling harder my car started to bog down. Am I not getting fuel? Any information will help me out.

thanks

As of now I am running an FMU 12:1. I’m only pushing 5 PSI’s till I get a Hondata and 450 injectors.

The FMU and stock injectors are probably doing it. You really need to upgrade the fuel system.

It is definitely a fuel issue and my guess is that you are running overly rich under boost with the FMU and that is causing the bogging.

I recommend some tunable engine management with larger injectors and a larger volume fuel pump. Anything you choose will be a step up but ideally, you want to go with either Hondata, uberdata, chrome, etc with some 440cc injectors and a 255lph fuel pump. It isn't cheap but it will allow a larger amount of boost to be run safely without any bogging.

It just occurred to me, but you may want to also check your ignition timing to make sure it is set to factory spec.

I also assume you have a CEL with your current setup, so that may also explain the loss of power.
