My STOCK 'Teg -- why's everyone trying to race me (rant)?
My Teg's bone stock including the plastic wheel covers.
In a 5-block commute to the gym, I had two imports wanting to race me...a Turbo Beetle, then a Protege.
Also, I seem to be a target for lowered Civics.
I mean, WTH?
My car's STOCK!
So if I were driving one of my other vehicles, would these guys be trying to race me? How would they feel if I picked on them?
Really now!

Don't feel bad, I too have idiots try to race me in my bone stock Integra LS. It annoys me to no end when I'm cruising down the highway at 75, they crank up on me at 85, hit the brakes, and pace me. Stop lights are not as bad because I just let them crank up and take off while I'm shifting leisurely.

My car is a two door with alloys and a spoiler, that might explain some of it. I had a Civic EX coupe which lacked the alloys or the wing and it happened at a much smaller frequency with that car. And when I had a Nissan Sentra nobody gave me a second glance...
