Default a/c filter

hi my req maint ligth came up so i check the manual what i have to do and it say to change the a/c filter and i have no idea where it is and where i can buy one and i don't want to take my car to the dealer because they get expensive so please hhelp me

I think that means the cabin air filter. Its usually loccated behind the glove box inside the car. On 6th gens, you have to remove the glove box to replace it. The filter is cheap, so if you're up to it, it should be fairly simple.

You can get the filter from http://www.handaaccessories.com. If you have a V6, you'll need 2 of them.

Do 5th gens have a cabin or A/C filter that can be changed as well?

You need two with I4 as well.

If you do it a word of advice is to make sure the arrows on the outside of the holders and the filters match when put together, then make sure the arrows point AWAY from the blower motor. otherwise you will have no airflow after. good luck
