I picked up 10 whp. by removing everything in the engine bay that has to do with A/C you will decrease engine load and lighten the thing up a bit. If you can live w/o it then do it.

I removed my AC thinking I could live without it, and I can. But in Florida summers the ladies don't like it too much. So if you plan on carrying any girls around I would get it fixed. But hey, you do pick up a few extra ponies and lighten the front end a good bit so its kinda worth it. Engine will rev a little faster too.

Just pull everything out related to it, the compressor, bracket for the compressor, all lines, condensor, a/c fan.

for a cheap way and if you want it back is just remove the belt then you dont have power lose and if it is not on it wont put pressure on your motor anyway. but if you remove it you will save some weight. but hey the car was built with it in anyway. so i would do the first thing.
