automatic to 5 speed swap.
I have swapped a 5 speed into a 97 prelude automatic (H22 non-sh). I was wondering am I going to have problems with ecu's and wiring?

You'll need a 5 speed ECU and wiring harness. Wiring from OBDII to OBDI is a bitch unless you get an OBDII oil pump to plug into the OBDI distributor.

2. - u should be able to get away with a base ECU (NON SH) from a 5spd 5th gen lude. All the plugs should fit and it should be mostly plug and play except that your cluster has automatic lights for gear selector position

the gauges are not a problem since this car is getting a custom fiberglass dash, and all gauges are being replaced with stewart warner ones. thank you for the help.

if your replaceing the SS to manual in a 5th gen you need the 5sp ECU (red learn key for immobilizer) trans, right trans mount, speedsensor, flywheel + bolts) shift linkage, pedals ,shifter &boot , gauge cluster if you don't like the PRND4D321 on the dash you can use your auto harness and just leave the trans stuff unpluged just have to locate the reverse light wires or get a manual one.
