I haven't done it personally, but I have assisted a few people. Assuming you get a long block, tranny and an ECU... Since the engine will be off the car, you might think about replacing:

The clutch
All Belts
Oil pan gasket,
Valve cover gasket and grommets
Timing belt, and cover gasket
Engine Mounts
Alternator
Dizzy (Distributor)
Plugs and wires
Intake Manifold Gasket
1/2 shafts (CVs, axles whatever)
Front Wheel Bearings.

Make sure you get all the necessary harnesses. It took 3 of us 1 weekend to get the a blown engine out of the car, and 2 weekends to get the new one in replacing most of that list.
