yes but at the same time damage your tranny.
That low boost was used due to the fact of the limitations of our trannies.

You can have 40hp more simply by trading in your V6 and buying a 03 V6. It may cost a little more than 4,500 though, but you have a new car and the option for 6sp in a coupe.
