Is honda dealer the only place to buy them?
no walmart or other stores?

In here he said he got them from dealer for $36, but I can get it done at the auto shop for $40, including labor.
I was wondering, if I can buy it cheaper like engine air filters so it would be worth doing it myself.

and do PCV valves need to be replaced at 30k miles?
my shop said honda recommends.. blah blah... but my manual says I have way long miles left still.

other than those two, should I change/add anything to my car for maintance reason. manual says a lot but I wanna go by what actual ppl's doing.

When I had my 30K maintenance done, the Honda dealership wanted about $350. I took the list to my local guy and he did everything on the list but the air filters for $50. I bought the air filters at Autozone for about 12 bucks and it took me about an hour to put them in. In short - I would not go to the dealership for the maintenance. Also, I would nto go to Wal-Mart because they are evil.

Have fun installing them.
Took me forever to install. Removing my glove box was a bitch and there is a horizontal bar I needed to remove in order to pull out the filters.

And the directions that come with the filters suck - I would go ahead and buy a Chilton's or something!

Here are the instructions for changing the filter - really not that difficult if you are patient. About 45 minutes the first time you do it - maybe 20 muinutes every time after that.

It only took me about 20 minutes total to take out the old filters and install the new. The first time I paid around $35.00 for both filters,and the ones made by Micron-Air that are offered on H&A's site are the exact same filters that I bought from the dealer, so next time I'm ordering from them.

is there a difference in the quality of the "honda" air filters and the generics found at auto parts places; fram, puralator, acdelco, etc?

also, does walmart sell the cabin filters?

i have ordered from handa before but am wondering if a local cheaper option was available and worth it
