1991 Prelude engine swap....
I got a buddy that has a 91 Prelude with a completely shot motor that he loves, but doesn't want to spend alot of cash on another B21. I have a D16Z6 that is just sitting around that he wants to buy... can that even go into a Prelude? I know it's downgrading and so does he, he just wants a quick fix for this car. Any other ideas you have, or if any of you have a B21 to get rid of let me know. Thanks in advance.

Cody, I have a 3rd generation (88-91) prelude as well. The only 2 engines that you can put in it are a H22- with special motor mounts along with custom axles and everything, or a B20A5 or B21 motor. You can put the JDM B20A motor in your friends car as a drop in replacement for the stock engine. They only cost about 600-700 bucks. Other than those 2 engines, without MAJOR custom fabrication and wiring, no other engines can go into his prelude. Tell your friend to check out preludepower.com they have a ton of info on prelude engine swaps.
