Default h23 Vtec turbo or h23 turbo

Im in the market for a used 92-96 lude. Now i wanted to build up the h22 slap a turbo on there and be on my way . But i cant find a good price on a lude with an h22 already in it , that has good mileage condition etc etc.. And im not going to buy an h22 and drop it in there...So my question is when i buy my lude with the h23 in there should i get an h22 head build it up and put on the turbo OR just build up the h23 and then slap the turbo on????

sorry, i got confused by your post, i thought you wanted to buy a prelude with an h23, then buy an h22 for it.

anyways...when you put a h22 head on the h23, reliablitiy goes down if its not done right, plus you wanted to put a turbo. I would suggest just buying a prelude with an h22 already in it, and if the miles on the engine are too much, have it rebuilt...Euro R Spec parts, with the amount of money you spend on the building up an h23/vtec/turbo... you could have a reliable fairly quick h22.

of course, its all up to you, if you have the cash to build an h23/vtec/turbo then go for it. BTW you just dont slap a turbo on, theres a lot more to it than that

yeah i just didnt feel like typing it all out.....thanks for the input......One more question for you ..... when you rebuild the engine do they just take out all the internals and ut in new ones or do they do something with the actual block
