Default JDM headlights 94 Accord HELP

Ok, so I was gonna do black housing for my 94 DIY but now im thinking i might just buy a set of JDM style lights. Here is the problem though, Ive seen actual JDM lights for around 600 bucks and JDM style lights for around 250-275. Whats the difference here?? The bulbs for the JDM STYLE lights are H4-Hibeam H1-Lowbeam, is there a difference in quality of construction here? what should i do. If anyone knows a good source for lights like these, let me know. Thanks.

i don't have JDM or depo headlights. i have the depo corners with the DIY jdm style lights (read my post made recently about the DIY conversion + depo corners)...

if you are paranoid about the depo lights fogging up, you can goto any hardware store and get silicone sealant. get 100% silicone sealant, and check the back to make sure it is suitable for use with plastics. once you get it, remove the metal clips around the headlights, and run a small amount of silicone around the edges, where the clear plastic meets the rest of the housing. this will help ensure that the seal is secure. you can get sealant thats rated to be used at a high temperature, but the area its going to be used around probably doesn't get that hot, so i doubt it'll matter.

im afraid that with the depot lights, that they wont fit correctly. the thing with the Stanleys is that you know they will fit, but thats another 350 to spend.

Mine fit fine, and with some extra silicone around them; I've got no problem w/ fogging up or condensation. I've got the Depo's by the way.

i just got the depo corners and did the DIY jdm style headlights. the depos DO NOT fit. maybe mine are just defective. but if they are, then both of them are at the same time, in exactly the same way...

i want to post a new thread about this because its driving me insane how they bad they look right now...
